Ballistic Tip Hunting Bullets

Introduced in 1984, the Ballistic Tip® bullet is one of the most famous hunting bullets on the market today. There have been many knock-offs but there is only one bullet that can be called Ballistic Tip®.
The hunting Ballistic Tip bullet is an excellent choice for thin-skinned game such as antelope, deer and sheep. The more you hunt, the more you start to realize how unpredictable and unforgiving nature can be. This is why Nosler engineered the Ballistic Tip Hunting bullet to be very predictable and extremely forgiving. Whether you are after whitetails, blacktails, mulies or pronghorn, Ballistic Tip bullets deliver the kind of accuracy, consistency and down range punch required for putting down that buck or goat in any situation. The combination of performance and consistency coupled with versatility that Nosler has built into the Ballistic Tip bullets has resulted in over 25 years of successful hunts for sportsman across the country and worldwide.
It all starts with the Nosler Ballistic Tip. The tip is made from polymer and is color coded by caliber. It is designed to resist deformation in the magazine and initiate expansion upon impact. The fully tapered jacket allows for a controlled expansion. The special lead alloy core that has made Nosler Ballistic Tip famous adds to the terminal performance as it is dispersed into the target. The net result is 50-60% weight retention and full terminal performance.
The final features of the Nosler Ballistic Tip are the heavy jacketed base that acts as a platform for a large diameter mushroom coupled with the Nosler Solid Base®. The Solid Base allows the bullet to withstand ultra velocities while the boat tail design combined with the polymer tip allows for extreme long range accuracy and easier loading for the hand loader.
Each bullet is visually inspected at the factory and sealed in the box until you open them. Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting bullets are packaged in 50 count boxes
